My Glass Cookbook · Template Studio
Terms of Service
Effective July 16, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Template Studio, a browser-based stained-glass layout, assignment, and order-planning tool provided by My Glass Cookbook. By using Template Studio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Using Template Studio
Template Studio helps artists prepare artwork, identify design regions, assign glass, estimate material needs, and create project, cut, reference, and ordering documents. You may use the service for lawful personal, educational, studio, and commercial design work.
You are responsible for the projects, files, measurements, material choices, and purchasing decisions you make with information from Template Studio. You may not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass its safeguards, use automated access in a way that degrades availability, or copy the application for unauthorized redistribution or resale.
2. Templates, piece detection, and measurements
Automatic artwork parsing, piece detection, exclusions, outlines, dimensions, area calculations, numbering, and scale are planning aids—not guarantees. Results can vary with artwork quality, disconnected paths, line thickness, raster resolution, PDF rendering, calibration, browser behavior, and the dimensions you enter.
Review every detected piece, boundary, measurement, scale, and exclusion before cutting or ordering. Confirm critical dimensions against the original pattern and a physical full-size layout, and allow for fabrication methods, foil or came, kerf, grinding, assembly tolerances, and breakage.
3. Glass assignments, quantities, and catalog information
Glass photographs, colors, compatibility notices, product details, forms, COE information, quantities, prices, availability, and SKU information are references—not guarantees. Screens, lighting, photography, manufacturing variation, firing schedules, glass thickness, transmitted light, and reflected light can change appearance and performance.
Area and order quantities are estimates based on detected geometry, assigned glass, entered dimensions, and the breakage allowance you choose. Sheet yield depends on shape, grain or texture direction, defects, cutting strategy, available sheet sizes, and your fabrication process. Always verify compatibility, quantity, availability, and safety decisions with physical samples, current manufacturer guidance, and the retailer.
4. Cut files and exported documents
Generated cut files, templates, order sheets, shopping lists, project files, and other exports must be reviewed before fabrication, sharing, or machine use. File compatibility, scale, path interpretation, units, and output can vary by browser, printer, design software, cutter, and other equipment.
Test exported files on noncritical material and confirm dimensions, piece numbering, orientation, closed paths, and machine settings. My Glass Cookbook does not operate your tools or control downstream software, printing, cutting, fabrication, assembly, or installation.
5. Purchases and third-party services
Template Studio may display catalog information or links supplied by Delphi Glass and other manufacturers, retailers, or service providers. Unless expressly stated during checkout, Template Studio does not sell glass, process payment, guarantee inventory, or form the purchase contract.
Purchases and external websites are governed by the applicable seller's prices, availability, shipping policies, privacy practices, and terms. My Glass Cookbook is not responsible for third-party services or for changes to external catalog information.
6. Your files and privacy
Template Studio is designed to perform its core artwork, detection, layout, and assignment work in your browser. Project files and generated documents are downloaded at your direction, while browser Save, Load, recovery, and preference features may store project information locally on your device.
You are responsible for keeping backups of artwork, portable project files, palettes, and browser-saved templates you want to retain. Clearing browser storage, using private browsing, changing devices, or browser maintenance may remove locally saved work. Hosting and external service providers may process ordinary technical request information according to their own privacy practices.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of artwork, templates, project names, assignments, and other material you bring into Template Studio. You represent that you have the right to use that material. You grant only the limited permissions needed for the browser and hosting services to display and process the material as necessary to provide the service.
8. Intellectual property
Template Studio, its software, design, documentation, branding, and original content are owned by My Glass Cookbook or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, trademarks, photographs, artwork, and catalog data remain the property of their respective owners.
These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the application or permit you to reproduce, reverse engineer, sublicense, republish, or commercially distribute the service except where applicable law expressly allows it.
9. Availability and changes
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct or update catalog information without notice. We aim to keep Template Studio useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent browser storage, or continued availability of any particular product record, file format, export, or external link.
10. Disclaimers
Template Studio is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Glass Cookbook disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
Template Studio is a planning aid, not professional engineering, architectural, structural, electrical, medical, legal, kiln-safety, machine-operation, or installation advice. Follow manufacturer instructions, equipment guidance, and appropriate studio and workplace safety practices.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Glass Cookbook and its owners, contributors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, profit, materials, or business opportunity; inaccurate detection or measurements; failed firings or cuts; inaccurate orders; tool or equipment damage; or damage arising from use of or inability to use Template Studio or third-party services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid My Glass Cookbook specifically for access to Template Studio during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using Template Studio at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, our rights, or third parties, or when these terms are materially violated. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will survive.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Template Studio evolves. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
