Terms of Service

Effective July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Palette, a browser-based color-reference and glass-planning tool provided by My Glass Cookbook. By using Palette, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Using Palette

Palette helps artists collect colors, explore approximate glass matches, organize product selections, and create reference or shopping documents. You may use the service for lawful personal, educational, studio, and commercial design work.

You are responsible for the projects, material choices, files, and purchasing decisions you make with information from Palette. You may not interfere with the service, attempt to bypass its safeguards, use automated access in a way that degrades availability, or copy the application for unauthorized redistribution or resale.

2. Color and catalog information

Color matches, HEX values, photographs, ΔE rankings, compatibility notices, product details, prices, availability, forms, and SKU information are references—not guarantees. Screens, lighting, photography, manufacturing variation, firing schedules, glass thickness, transmitted light, and reflected light can all change the appearance or performance of glass.

Always verify important color, compatibility, quantity, availability, and safety decisions with physical samples, current manufacturer guidance, and the retailer before cutting, firing, ordering, or installing glass.

3. Purchases and third-party services

Palette may display catalog information or links supplied by Delphi Glass and other manufacturers, retailers, or service providers. Unless expressly stated during checkout, Palette does not sell glass, process payment, guarantee inventory, or form the purchase contract.

Purchases and external websites are governed by the applicable seller's prices, availability, shipping policies, privacy practices, and terms. My Glass Cookbook is not responsible for third-party services or for changes to external catalog information.

4. Your files and privacy

Palette is designed to perform its core photo sampling and color work in your browser. Palette files and generated documents are downloaded at your direction, while browser Save and Load features may store project information locally on your device.

You are responsible for keeping backups of files and browser-saved palettes you want to retain. Clearing browser storage, using private browsing, changing devices, or browser maintenance may remove locally saved work. Hosting and external service providers may process ordinary technical request information according to their own privacy practices.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of photographs, color selections, project names, and other material you bring into Palette. You represent that you have the right to use that material. You grant only the limited permissions needed for the browser and hosting services to display and process the material as necessary to provide the service.

6. Intellectual property

Palette, its software, design, documentation, branding, and original content are owned by My Glass Cookbook or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, trademarks, photographs, and catalog data remain the property of their respective owners.

These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the application or permit you to reproduce, reverse engineer, sublicense, republish, or commercially distribute the service except where applicable law expressly allows it.

7. Availability and changes

We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may correct or update catalog information without notice. We aim to keep Palette useful and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation, permanent browser storage, or continued availability of any particular product record or external link.

8. Disclaimers

Palette is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Glass Cookbook disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

Palette is a planning aid, not professional engineering, architectural, structural, electrical, medical, legal, kiln-safety, or installation advice. Follow manufacturer instructions and appropriate studio and workplace safety practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Glass Cookbook and its owners, contributors, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, profit, materials, or business opportunity; failed firings; inaccurate orders; or damage arising from use of or inability to use Palette or third-party services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid My Glass Cookbook specifically for access to Palette during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Palette at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, our rights, or third parties, or when these terms are materially violated. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will survive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Palette evolves. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
